Sliding Doors

intro

  • Rundum Meir Original sliding garage doors allow for the use of the full garage width and height – indeed you can even have full use of a side wall with the installation of a partition. No tracks and door under the ceiling.
  • Side sectional sliding garage doors. These are the ideal solution and often specified for Grade ll listed buildings, boat houses and modern new builds. The door panels are constructed with a sub frame that is externally boarded and comes complete with tracks, gearing and optional automation.
  • Overhead Sectional Sliding Doors. The sliding garage door panels move in side guides and are stowed under the ceiling when open. Torsion springs counterbalance the sliding garage doors to ensure quiet and smooth operation. It is possible to let the sliding garage doors follow an angle of the roof. Timber doors can be manufactured to have vertical tongue and groove boarding or routing to meet conservation requirements.
  • Specialist Sliding Garage Doors. Clad one-piece up-and-over Rundum Meir doors that can merge with facades, and can include copper, aluminium, glass or timber. Rundum Meir Doors can be ventilated to allow airflow through them. Multi-user car park garage doors can be designed as side sliding garage doors or overhead garage doors for private or commercial applications.
